The focus of my abstracts is to examine the photograph for its possible colors, shapes, and movement, rather than its representational appearance. Then begins the process of destruction and reconstruction. The results are a powerful interpretation of the subject matter.
Blossoms On Black
The Blossoms On Black collection takes out extraneous information, such as background objects and their colors. This then allows the viewers to focus only on the design and colors of the blossom.
Nature
"Mother" nature provides a colorful array of colors, shapes, and movement. It offers endless creative opportunities to capture their colors and shapes.
Memories
Memories is a set of prints that creatively capture some of the memorable moments that I have encountered over time.
Digital Art
This collection brings together art crafted with Photoshop, other digital tools, and AI. Each piece pushes beyond the boundaries of traditional photography. For me, AI feels like a natural evolution, a fresh layer that lets me build on the visual worlds I have already imagined through photography and other editing tools. It is another brush (mouse) in my hand, not just a set of codes and commands.
